Graphic Design

Pteryga Design started as a web design business in the mid-90's as it's founder, David G. Brashears, became aware that this fledgling industry was taking an odd turn and under-experienced designers were producing poorly crafted websites.  Mr. Brashears, a self-trained designer himself, knew that this wasn't because these designers were bad persay, but because the technologies and programs running these sites had no real regulative association in which they related.  Mr. Brashears' no-nonsense design style and commitment to usable design set him apart as he started his business.

Over the years, conventional design projects were brought to Pteryga for the very same reason.  As David says, "Clean design is good design, and the designer who produces work that doesn't communicate the clients needs as simply and fundamentally as he/she can -- is self-serving."  Our graphic design department has produced evocative and attractive design for both national and local clients using this tenet, to much success.
